Melissa S. Landers 1L Write-On Competition

Membership in the Washington Journal of Law, Technology & Arts is competitive. First-year students interested in joining must participate in the 1L write-on competition. Typically, the Washington Journal of Law, Technology & Arts extends invitations of membership to 18 first-year students. Applicants are evaluated based on performance in the Melissa S. Landers 1L Writing Competition and an optional statement of interest.

2L Write-On Competition

The Washington Journal of Law, Technology & Arts sponsors a competition for second-year students in Spring Quarter. The Washington Journal of Law, Technology & Arts may extend invitations to up to two second-year students. For more information please email wjtla@uw.edu
