Academic Success Programs

Academic Success Programs support all UW Law students seeking to develop as effective, empowered and reflective learners and lawyers. The program works with students — including those with diverse learning styles, experiences and skill sets — to achieve their academic goals and become successful legal professionals. The program offers academic counseling to individuals and small groups in which students can learn more about the multitude of community resources and discuss ways to exploit learning strengths and to identify and tackle areas for growth.

In addition to individualized meetings, the program sponsors a series of workshops and presentations to on topics related to student learning and success. As a new program dedicated to supporting the community’s commitment to overcome systemic barriers to student success, during 2019-2020 the program will partner members of the legal community to identify area of future programmatic growth to best serve students and the legal community.
