About the Program

Join us for the 13th Annual WIPIP Colloquium hosted by the Center for Advanced Study and Research on IP (CASRIP) at the University of Washington School of Law. This is one of the largest academic conferences for U.S. IP academics fostering robust and productive discussion of intellectual property law and policy scholarship. The Colloquium provides intellectual property scholars with a forum to present their academic works-in-progress and receive early feedback from their colleagues.

We have scheduled this year’s WIPIP Colloquium directly after the 4th Annual Asia Pacific Forum, which CASRIP is also hosting, in which top Pacific Rim IP academics meet to present their work. Accordingly, the theme for the combined conference-colloquium is “East Meets West.”

Who Should Attend

The following people will benefit from attending this colloquium:

  • U.S. IP professors and scholars;
  • Foreign IP academics;
  • Attorneys specializing in IP law;
  • Law students.
