LAW P 540 Music Industry Deals

This course provides students with the legal doctrine, knowledge of industry practices, and practical training required to negotiate and draft the most common music industry legal agreements. Topics covered include management, agent, artist-label, songwriter-publisher, artist-producer, band, live performance, merchandising, and motion picture music agreements as well as synchronization licenses. Prerequisite: LAW P 507 or LAW P 536 or instructor permission.
