LAW E 598
Climate Change Law Seminar
Credits:
3-4, Max 4
The purpose of this class is to introduce students to the emerging body of law that is intended to both mitigate the impacts of climate change and facilitate adaptation to those impacts that are no longer avoidable. By studying the law as it evolves, students will gain a better appreciation of how climate change law is becoming woven into virtually every other area of law, including energy development, transportation, finance, technology, and land use.
