Legal Problems Of Economic Development Seminar

Using the teachers’ extensive field experience on development issues, this seminar focuses on the application of law of international development (comparative, transnational and international) to a series of issues. Among the major issues considered: income redistribution (prominently including comparative land reform and decollectivization experience), health and population, environmental and other aspects of "sustainability", women’s participation, and role of transnational resource flows (both public, as via foreign aid, and private, as via debt or equity investment).
