LAW B 520 Trial Advocacy

Credits: 2-6, Max 6


Instruction in fundamental skills of trial advocacy; e.g., courtroom psychology and jury persuasion; techniques of direct and cross examination of lay and expert witnesses; opening statements and closing argument; depositions and discovery; and jury selection. Student performances will be videotaped in class for subsequent review and critique. Prerequisite: LAW B503 Evidence (may be taken concurrently). Enrollment may be limited. Offered on credit/no credit basis only.
