Advanced Constitutional Law: Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity

This course examines individual constitutional rights—primarily equal protection, due process, and the First Amendment—from a gay and transgendered rights perspective. Students will be most prepared for this course if they have taken A591 (Constitutional Law: Freedom of Expression) and A592 (Constitutional Law II). Students who have not taken either of those courses may need to do additional reading to fully comprehend the assigned materials.
