Tax Writing is a practice skills class designed to develop writing skills related to the practice of tax law and to expose students to different types of tax documents and their associated Internal Revenue Code provisions. These documents may include (1) tax opinion letters rendered to clients; (2) tax disclosures included in security offerings, (3) tax provisions in asset purchase agreements, (4) tax sharing agreements, and (5) various tax elections. Prerequisites: Introduction to Individual Income Taxation.
