Theories and Tools for Combatting Corruption
Credits:
1-4, Max 4
Corruption has long been identified as an obstacle to development, and ‘cost of doing business’ in many countries. This course examines theories, causes and consequences of corruption, and select regimes established to combat and measure it, e.g., UN Convention Against Corruption, OECD Anti-Bribery Convention, U.S. Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, and Transparency International’s Corruption Perceptions Index.
