Mediation Clinic
Credits:
1-10, Max 10
Clinical training in mediation under the supervision of the faculty. This clinic offers both a seminar component covering applicable law, mediation skills training and mediator ethics, and a carefully supervised practice component in which students will mediate actual cases. This clinic is available to second and third-year students. Enrollment in each section is limited to eight students. Up to three of the eight will be selected through an application process which will consist of a brief questionnaire and, in some cases, faculty interviews. These three spaces will not be subject to the third year preference rule. Enrollment priorities for all clinics will apply for all remaining spaces. This course is taught Autumn-Winter and Winter-Spring and requires a two-quarter commitment. Offered on credit/no credit basis.
