Clinical training in family and juvenile law under the supervision of a member of the Law School faculty. Students will interview clients and witnesses. Students will draft legal documents, gather facts informally or through legal discovery. Students will negotiate cases, counsel clients, and conduct hearings and trials. Clients will generally be referred from the Columbia Legal Services, the King County Bar Association, Marshall Alternative High School, and Juvenile Court. Rule 9-eligible students only. Credit/No credit only. A579 Child Advocacy is a co- or pre-requisite for Child Advocacy Clinic I and II.
