HIV and the Law

This course will trace thirty years of the HIV/AIDS epidemic, beginning with the discovery of the disease through to the present.The course will focus on many of the socio-political-legal aspects of the HIV/AIDS crisis, including discrimination, quarantine, immigration, criminal law, insurance, public health and family law issues.
