LAW E 537 Refugee Law

This course will examine the processes in the United States for the admission of refugees and for the adjudication of asylum claims. In addition, the course will explore international refugee policy and evolving legal norms concerning asylum, temporary protection, repatriation, resettlement and internal displacement. Students will write a brief paper. Recommended course: Immigration Law A577.
