White Collar Crime

A survey of the law (primarily federal) relating to white collar crime, including conspiracy, mail fraud, racketeer influenced and corrupt organizations (RICO), money laundering, corporate criminal liability, fraud upon financial institutions, tax fraud, false claims against the government, and the civil and collateral consequences of white collar crime. The class will be graded based on a final examination. Enrollment is unrestricted. Prerequisite: LAW A 505 Criminal Law.
