LAW B 594 Public Land Law Seminar

Credits: 2-6, Max 6


Covers history of public land law and early land grants, reservations and withdrawal policies, and present management policies and programs for all federal lands, including national forests, BLM lands, National Parks, and wilderness areas. Deals with emerging conflicts over use of public lands. Touches on jurisdictional issues raised by Indian reservations. The seminar is limited to 15 students.
