Supreme Court Decision Making Seminar

This seminar examines Supreme Court decisionmaking from both a theoretical and practical perspective. The class will survey representative cases on the Court's current docket. Extensive preparation will be required of participants who will play the roles of lawyers, justices, and commentators. Emphasis is on developing appellate advocacy skills. Grade will be based on oral arguments, class participation, and written opinions. Enrollment is limited to 12 students.
