LAW B 567 General Externship Perspectives Seminar

General Externship Perspectives is a companion course for students taking an externship. The course is designed to help students examine and reflect on the legal system, explore their professional goals, and develop skills necessary to succeed as a lawyer. Guest speakers will frequently be invited to share their expertise in class sessions. Students will also have opportunities to reflect on their externship experiences through reflective journals, in-class discussions, and a variety of other activities. Multiple sections of this course may be offered to accommodate students in various types of placements including judicial, legislative, government agency, public interest, legislative, criminal, corporate counsel, and distance (25+ miles from campus). Offered on a credit/no credit basis only.
