Theories Of Justice Seminar

Study of the main theories of societal justice that have been articulated in Western thought. The class concentrates on the expression of these theories in legal systems and philosophies of law, both ancient and modern. Students may elect to write a paper of substantial scope in lieu of an examination. Limit: 20 students.
