LAW 600 Independent Study Or Research

Both J.D. and postgraduate students may earn credit for independent research. A student's eligibility to do so depends on the section of Law 600 for which the student registers; the available sections, their purposes, and their eligibility criteria are set forth below. In no case will credit received under Law 600 apply toward fulfillment of the Advanced Writing Project requirement for J.D. students. Grades for Law 600, if given, will not be considered in computing a student's grade-point average. No student may earn more than a total of 8 credits toward the J.D. degree for all work done under Law 600 sections C, D, E, and F combined.
