Consideration will be paid to the range of current benefits for employees including health and welfare benefit plans, VEBAs, COBRA issues, self-insured plans, cafeteria plans, dependent care, §132 fringe benefits, life insurance in a compensatory context, severance plans and golden parachutes, compensatory stock plans including restricted stock and stock option arrangements, and ERISA, ADEA, and ADA implications for employers who offer such benefits. Prerequisites: Introduction to Individual Income Taxation.
