Analysis of the legal relationship among persons as to the ownership, transfer, and use of property from both a historical and a contemporary perspective. Subjects covered include estates and interests in land, landlord-tenant, conveyances, real estate contracts, the recording system, title insurance, and fixtures. Other subjects that may be covered in varying degree include public control of land use, nuisance, gifts, bailments, personal property, and water rights.
