IPNW 2017 Stand for Innocence Benefit & Awards Dinner

Sponsor Fact Sheet

Founded in 1997, Innocence Project Northwest (IPNW) has exonerated 14 men and women who collectively served over 100 years in prison for crimes they did not commit and helped enact new laws to preserve evidence for DNA testing and compensate the wrongly convicted. In 2017, IPNW will celebrate 20 years of advocating for innocent Washington prisoners.

Event Description:

Stand for Innocence is our annual spring benefit and awards dinner. The evening will honor our 2017 award recipients and feature inspiring stories of those who regained their freedom through the efforts of IPNW, our pro bono partners and donors.

Purpose:

Our 20th anniversary goal is to raise $100,000 in sponsorships. Tax deductible donations will fund IPNW’s legal services to free the innocent and support initiatives aimed to prevent future wrongful convictions and benefit exonerees working to rebuild their lives in freedom.

Date/Time: Thursday, May 4th 2017 from 6 – 9 p.m.
Audience: 300 legal, corporate, government, education & social justice leaders from the Pacific Northwest
Format: Reception, dinner, keynote speaker and awards ceremony
