Law School Alumni Association Board of Directors
The University of Washington Law School Alumni Association (LSAA) was incorporated in 1949 to "promote the welfare of the law school." Throughout its history, the association has carried out its purpose
through a variety of activities reflective of the needs of the school. The association serves in an advisory capacity for law school deans, assists in recruitment, student placement, and career planning services for students and alumni. It has provided funding for new student orientation programs;
admitted student engagement; an active Mentor program which pairs practicing attorneys with students; commencement exercises; regional alumni events; and various scholarships and faculty assistance programs.
Association resources also support a thriving and typically sold out Class Reunion program, provide funding for administration, faculty and staff participation at alumni gatherings; and support special projects and activities throughout the year, including the hugely successful Celebration of Distinction each fall.
In the fall of each year, the Law School Alumni Association bestows its annual alumni awards deserving alumni at the Celebration of Distinction dinner. Alumni are encouraged to nominate deserving fellow alumni for these awards.
