Immigration Law Clinic Earns Huge Win for Former Sudanese Child Soldier
Congratulations to Teymur Askerov '12 and Melanie Beckwith '11, two immigration law clinic students, and to advanced clinic student Meghan Kelly '11
who successfully defended a 33-year-old detained man from being sent back to Sudan, where he feared he would be tortured.
Athian Bol tells an amazing story and Signe Dortch and her team were able to focus attention on the widespread and
egregious human rights violations occurring in Sudan. Well done to the students and to clinic director Signe Dortch.
