UW School of Law hosts 2nd Annual Climate Change Conference
The UW School of Law will host the second annual conference on climate change May 2 in Room 138 of William H. Gates Hall. Featured event speakers include Rep. Norm Dicks (D-WA), who will address climate change and its relation to Washington state; KC Golden, Policy Director of Climate Solutions; Michael Lufkin, partner with Marten Law Group; and Steve Berman, managing partner of Hagens Berman Sobol Shipiro.
The goal of the conference symposium is to discuss climate change solutions for the Pacific Northwest, including a wrap-up of 2008 legislation, an update on the Western Climate Initiative, and information about emissions trading.
