Hillis Clark Martin & Peterson 1L Appellate Advocacy Competition

The University of Washington School of Law’s Moot Court Honor Board is proud to host the annual Hillis Clark Martin & Peterson 1L Appellate Advocacy Competition from May 12-19th. The competition, linked with the 1L Writing Program, involves both written and oral advocacy. Competitors write a brief and participate in up to five rounds of oral argument before local practitioners and judges. The Championship Round will take place on Monday, May 19th at 6:30 pm before a panel of distinguished judges. The final panel will featuring the 2014 Shefelman Jurist-in-Residence Judge Alison J. Nathan of the Eastern District of New York.
