My duties/responsibilities are as follows.

Room Reservations:

At the beginning of every quarter, I reserve rooms for the weekly SBA meeting through Academic Services. Whenever, possible the SBA meets in room 119 at 12:30pm.

Office Hours:

At the beginning of every quarter, I coordinate office hours for SBA board members.  Each Board member serves at least two hours per week in the SBA Office (Room 130) or the Student Commons area.  Office hours are posted outside of the SBA office and we try to have someone in the office at all times if possible.

SBA Agenda:

Thursday morning the SBA agenda will be sent via lawdawgs to the entire student body.  Highlights of he agenda will be in the email with a full agenda attached for more detailed review of students.  Any student can request an item be placed on the agenda by contacting me with adequate notice.

SBA Minutes:

At every SBA meeting I take minutes and e-mail the board the minutes for comments/revisions. The board has a week to comment or revise the minutes, and then at the following meeting (a week later) the minutes are approved/amended. Following the approval, minutes are circulated to student organization presidents and posted on the website.

Facilities Committee:

I am also assigned to the Facilities Committee, and would be happy to receive comments on the committees behalf.

SBA Projects:

I volunteer to assist with SBA projects as needed.
