Overview of this year's social events
Sign into Symplicity and go to the Events tab to RSVP for the following events:
- Social Justice Tuesday Events
- Gates Public Service Law Events
The Student Bar Association (SBA) is the student group for all University of Washington law students. SBA serves two major functions.
First, we are an advocate for student concerns at the law school, whether those concerns deal with policy problems of the School or what classes to take, we are there to help.
Second, we act to promote more social interaction at the law school. Over the year, we stage events and activities where you can meet your fellow law students in a nonacademic setting. Your yearly payment of dues helps make these events successful. We look forward to your participation.

Of course, 1Ls may contact their peer mentor anytime for questions and are encouraged to schedule one-on-one meetings.

SJT-Shirt Sale 2008: Buy an SJT-Shirt for $20
SJT-Shirts are printed on white shirts and will sport the jazzy SJT Superheroes logo. Two varieties of SJT-Shirts are available, unisex shirts or women's style shirts. All proceeds will contribute to the provision of lunches to SJT attendees and help us bring this exciting program to life!
Social Justice Tuesdays is an innovative programming series that will offer UWLS students a chance to come together and discuss a wide range of social justice issues. The SJT mission is to promote well-organized, well-attended events to educate, inspire and provide resources to public interest-minded students. SJT is an effort to both build up UWLS's public interest community and to increase cooperation between student organizations.
Please use the T-shirt order form (pdf) to buy your very own shirt, and thanks! Contact Megan Vogel, megvogel@, with questions.
