Law Scholarship Program inaugural dinner featuring retired U.S. Supreme Court Justice

6 p.m., Saturday, November 4 at the
Fairmont Olympic Hotel in
Seattle.
Advance reservations are required and the cost is $125 per
person.
Justice O'Connor will be speaking that morning at 10 a.m. in Kane Hall 130 on the UW campus. Her morning presentation is free and open to the public.
The first female Associate Justice of the U.S. Supreme Court, Justice O'Connor was appointed by President Ronald Reagan and served on the nation's highest court from 1981 to 2006. In 2004, Forbes magazine called her the fourth most powerful woman in the U.S. and the sixth most powerful in the world. Justice O'Connor retired from the court in 2005.
