• UW School of Law Moot Court Team Advances to National Finals
  The team representing the UW School of Law will advance to the finals of the National Moot Court Competition in New York City in early 2008. (11/28/2007)

  More than 87% of UW School of Law graduates passed the 2007 Washington State Bar Exam. (11/7/2007)
• Law School Visiting Scholar to Lecture on Recent Developments in Pakistan
  UW School of Law visiting scholar Amanullah Shah will discuss recent developments in Pakistan, including the recent role of the judiciary in challenging the extent of General Parvez Musharraf’s rule, Thursday, November 8, 3:30-5 p.m. in Room 317 of Thomson Hall on the UW campus. (11/6/2007)
• Law School Clinic to Work with New UW Health Science Research Institute
  Under a new NIH grant award, the Entrepreneurial Law Clinic at the UW School of Law will be part of a new team dedicated to working with the UW Institute of Translational Health Sciences. (10/25/2007)
• UW School of Law Receives NIH Grant for Bioethics Fellowship
  The UW School of Law recently received a grant from the National Institutes of Health to fund the training of Indonesian health professionals in the area of biomedical research ethics. (10/25/2007)
• Judge Yu to Hear Motions at UW Law School
  Judge Mary Yu with the King County Superior Court will hold a special session at the UW School of Law on Friday, October 19 in William H. Gates Hall Room 138. • Speaker to Present Proposed Treaty to Eradicate International Hunger
  A proposed treaty that aims to eradicate hunger through international law, known as the International Food Security Treaty (IFST), will be presented by John Teton, founder and director of the IFST Campaign October 22 at 4 p.m. in Room 133. (10/8/2007)
• Law School to Honor Student Ben Athay (1975-2007)
  The UW School of Law will hold a memorial service honoring Benjamin Grant Athay Friday, October 12, 4-5 p.m., in Room 138 of William Gates Hall. Athay, who would have been a second-year law student, died unexpectedly September 1, 2007 as the result of an undetected brain hemorrhage. (10/4/2007)
