Health Law Graduate Program (LL.M.)
Health Law is a dynamic, growing area of specialized legal practice and
the University of Washington is leading the way.
Our Health Law LL.M. Program harnesses the strengths of internationally known schools of law, medicine, public health, and public policy to create a multidisciplinary, collaborative approach for improving individual and global health.
Students benefit from strong core classes and have the opportunity to focus their studies
in one of the following concentrations:
- U.S. Health Law and Policy
- Global Health and Justice
- Genomics and Biotechnology
Alternatively, students may work with our faculty to create a custom focus on their
area of interest.
Some of our students have significant
practice experience and are seeking to change practice sectors. Others are recent J.D. graduates
seeking the specialty credentials that will launch their career. Many of our international
students are sponsored by their governments or companies to bring knowledge and
health law capacity to their own country.
