Health Law LL.M.

Health Law is a dynamic, growing area of specialized legal practice and the University of Washington is leading the way. Our Health Law LL.M. Program harnesses the strengths of internationally known schools of law, medicine, public health, and public policy to create a multidisciplinary, collaborative approach for improving individual and global health.

Curriculum

Our program is built on the foundation of the Center’s curriculum and programs and our longstanding multidisciplinary collaborations. The LL.M. degree will require the completion of thirty-six quarter hours of course credit. Full-time students can typically complete the course of study within one nine-month academic year. Admissions

The central criterion for admission will be the applicant's potential for successful completion of, and contribution to, the program. Important factors to be considered are the candidate's overall academic record, particularly in law school; the candidate's professional experience; and the candidate's demonstrated interest in health law.
