Kris C. Lee is the Associate Director of CASRIP (Center for Advanced Study & Research on Intellectual Property). She oversees all that is CASRIP including sponsorships, the annual Patent and Intellectual Property Law Summer Institute, the Transnational IP Seminar in Europe and many other CASRIP conferences here in the U.S. and around the world. In addition, she gives lectures on the "Legal English" session of the CASRIP Summer Institute. She has been with CASRIP since 2008.
Prior to joining the University of Washington School of Law, she worked at the General Counsel's Office of the Samsung Group for four years before joining the corporate department of Lee & Ko (one of the largest law firms in Korea) and then became one of the starting members of the newly established boutique maritime law firm, Choi & Kim. After living and working in Seoul, Korea for about 11 years, she returned to Seattle and continued her legal career at LeGros Buchanan & Paul.
