Kimberly Anne Eckstein
Kimberly Eckstein is the Assistant Dean for Advancement at the UW School of Law. Kimberly oversees alumni and donor relations, major gifts, annual giving, events, alumni data, and marketing and communications for the law school. She has over twelve years of experience working in higher education Advancement, including over five years at the UW School of Law.
Prior to her role as Assistant Dean at UW Law, Kimberly served as Director of Major Gifts and Major Gifts Officer respectively for the law school. Before joining UW Law, she was Assistant Director of Annual Giving for the University of Washington central Advancement Office, supporting the sixteen academic units on campus -- in addition to individual departments -- in regard to their annual giving efforts and strategies. Kimberly's Advancement career started as a Student Fundraiser for the UW in her freshman year, and she has always taken great pride in working passionately to serve alumni and donors, and raise much-needed private support for higher education.
Over the years, Kimberly has been involved as a volunteer for several non-profit organizations, including serving as a marathon and fundraising coach for the Arthritis Foundation Joints in Motion Program. She coached both seasoned and first-time marathon runners to successfully complete the Dublin and Seattle marathons -- and she has run in numerous marathons and half-marathons herself, completing her first marathon at the age of eighteen.
