Shari Ireton

Shari joined the law school in January 2006 after working five years for University of Washington Engineered Biomaterials (UWEB). At UWEB, she was the editor of an undergraduate student research journal and industry consortium newsletter, project manager for the annual National Science Foundation report, and event coordinator. Shari joined her husband, Laurence Tomsic, at the UW (then, a student) in 1999. Laurence is now a Field Engineer with the Applied Physics Laboratory.

Prior to her work at the UW, Shari worked at various non-profits in Seattle, Spokane, and Washington, DC. A native Idahoan, she is the proud mother of Calvin and Natalie.
