This course examines a broad spectrum of issues involving the interaction of art, culture and law. Topics include moral rights of artists, issues of originality and mutability, theft and forgery, protection of historic art, architecture and native cultural heritage, and legal/tax aspects associated with art sales, donations, collections and museums.
