William H. Gates Hall
5:30 PM - 7:30 PM
After two decades of internal repression, civil wars and
estrangement from the international community, Myanmar has
embarked on a process of reform. The country looks set once
again to engage with the global economy and foreign investors.
What role can law play in alleviating poverty and in promoting
responsible investment in Burma? Join a panel discussion that will discuss emerging legal challenges to inclusive development in Myanmar (Burma).
Reception to follow in Room 115.
Please RSVP online by May 10.
