Madam Lu Hsiu-lien is a human rights attorney and the former vice president of Taiwan.

Madam Annette Lu Hsiu-lien, Vice President of Taiwan from 2000 to 2008 and human rights advocate will deliver a lecture entitled “A New Perspective on the Asia Pacific". The lecture is co-sponsored by the Asian Law Center in honor of its 50th anniversary, The China Studies Program in the Henry M. Jackson School of International Studies, and the UW Department of Anthropology.
