Call for Alumni Recognition Awards Nominations!

The UW Law School Alumni Association invites all UW School of Law alumni to nominate fellow alumni who practice domestically and abroad , and have distinguished themselves in the categories listed below:

  • The Recent Graduate Award - Created in 2008, this award recognizes alumni who have graduated from UW School of Law within the last ten years and have made an outstanding contribution in the fields of a law practice, the judiciary, public service, government, business, or commerce.
  •  Service Recognition Award - Created in 1993, this award is given at the discretion of the Alumni Association Board of Directors as a means of recognizing individuals who have contributed actively toward the welfare of the Law School and its students for some length of time or in some significant manner.
  • The Distinguished Alumni Award - Created in 1979 to recognize alumni who demonstrate a record of civic, professional and community service.
  • The Henry M. Jackson Distinguished Alumni Public Service Award - Created in 1997 to honor alumni who exhibit significant advancement in the area of Public Service and have demonstrated a sustained interest in the law school over a significant number of years.

All nominations will be thoughtfully considered by the Law School Alumni Association’s Nominations Committee who will recommend a slate of 2012 award nominees to the full Law School Alumni Association Board of Directors. 2012 award recipients will be recognized at the Alumni Recognition Banquet on May 17, 2012 at the Four Seasons Hotel, 99 Union Street, Seattle.
