How to Apply: LL.M./Ph.D. Admissions

Application Procedures

Applicants for admission to the graduate programs in law must meet not only the requirements of the School of Law, but also the requirements of the University Graduate School; hence, each student should become familiar with the general policies, procedures, and regulations of the Graduate School.

Students in the advanced degree programs at the UW School of Law have opportunities to take full advantage of our collaborative arrangements with the university’s medicine, nursing, public policy, international studies, technology transfer, environment, engineering, and business schools. In addition, the law school has strong ties to global businesses, foundations, and government and nongovernmental organizations, including the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Microsoft, Office of the U.S. Attorney, Uplift International, Rural Development Institute, and PATH.
