Washington Journal of Environmental Law & Policy

The Washington Journal of Environmental Law & Policy invites submissions for papers addressing topics related to ocean acidification. WJELP is partnering with the UW Law Environmental Law Program to host on November 6, 2015 this year's UW Environmental Law Symposium on Ocean Acidification. Accepted papers will be featured at the symposium and later printed in WJELP's yearly monograph book. Submitted papers should relate to the growing need for law and policy addressing ocean acidification, strategies to manage ocean acidification at various scales (local, regional, national and global), and other related topics (using ocean acidification to target CO2 emissions, sustainable aquaculture, land-based sources of water pollution, etc.). We also welcome proposals for symposium presenters and speakers. Paper submissions are due by October 16, 2015.

WJELP continues to accept submissions on a rolling basis. Our regular publishing timeline includes two major publications each fall and spring.

We invite authors, including professionals and law students from the University of Washington and other law schools, to submit scholarly legal articles and essays on topics of environmental interest to the Pacific Northwest region and beyond.
