Graduate Program in Taxation Admissions Deadlines
Full-time applicants generally apply for the Autumn Quarter. While full-time students
are welcome to apply for Winter or Spring quarter, they may be limited in their choice of classes, as
many prerequisites are only offered during Autumn Quarter.
Current UW J.D. candidates may apply to the Graduate Program in
Taxation as concurrent students in Autumn, Winter, or Spring. Concurrent
students may take up to 12 credits of tax classes to count toward both their JD
and LL.M. degrees. During this time, concurrent students are charged JD tuition
for Tax classes. Tax classes taken beyond the first 12 credits will only count
toward the LL.M. degree, and concurrent students will be charged Graduate Tax
Program fees for their tax courses ($600/credit). To apply, please complete the
online application process outlined in the
Apply tab.
Part-time applicants (i.e., those who expect to register for
fewer than 12 credits per quarter) may apply for Autumn, Winter or Spring.

February 1 of the year they plan to begin classes.
