Rescheduling Exams

DO NOT DISCUSS RESCHEDULING AN EXAM WITH YOUR PROFESSOR!

Information on rescheduling an examination is available at Academic Services, room 361.

Summary of exam reschedule policy:

Students may reschedule an examination for one of two automatic reasons: 1) two exams on the same day; 2) three exams on consecutive calendar days.

For one of the "automatic reasons" below, date/time must be for next exam time that relieves the situation. A reschedule request form should to be completed and submitted to Academic Services by Tuesday, March 11th.

Variation from the original exam time will be permitted only for an automatic reason (noted above), severe mental or physical illness, or very unusual or demanding circumstances that make it unreasonably difficult or burdensome to meet the scheduled time. Rescheduling exam is not done generally for activities such as travel, field research, interviews (personal or school related) and other personal events such as weddings, reunions, etc.
