PRESIDENT: MALLORY SULLIVAN
Mallory's job is act as liaison between the SBA and the administration, the faculty, the Alumni Association, and the Law School Foundation. Within the SBA, she presides over meetings of the Executive Board, oversees the implementation of policies, and supports the rest of the Board in their overarching goal of making the UW law school experience a positive one for all students through advocacy and programming. EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT: CARLY KUMMERLOWE
Carly Kummerlowe is the Executive Vice President of the SBA. Her primary duties include overseeing the student mentoring program and events, managing the UW Law merchandising business including business cards, appointing students to administrative committees and serving on such committees as a member. Her duties also include acting as liaison to the Assistant Dean for Academic Services. Carly also acts as proxy for board members and the SBA president when needed. VICE PRESIDENT – SBA PROGRAMS: ANN PURKEY
Anne is responsible for coordinating the efforts of student organizations at UWLS. She serves as a resource to organizations in their event planning in an effort to create events that are thoughtfully developed, creatively marketed, and well attended. Anne also coordinates programs and events sponsored by the SBA Executive Board, such as the Fall Festival, Thank Goodness It's Thursday socials (TGITs), the Spring Gala, and quarterly charity events. In addition, Anne assists the Dean of Students in coordination of new student orientation. Students should contact Anne () with any questions or suggestions for SBA sponsored events.
VICE PRESIDENT – STUDENT ORGS: TIM REYNOLDS
Tim works as a liaison between student organizations and the SBA. His duties include chairing the budget committee, working with the president and treasurer to create a budget for student groups and allocate office space to registered student organizations. Student Organizations should contact Tim () with any questions involving funding events, working with the administration, or any general questions involving student organizations at the University of Washington School of Law.
SECRETARY: MAGGIE RILEY
Maggie is responsible for creating and distributing the SBA agenda and taking minutes, and coordinating office hours for SBA board members (posted on the SBA bulletin board near the Supreme Cup). The SBA agenda is sent to the entire student body on Wednesday mornings through the student morning announcements. Any student can request an item be placed on the agenda by contacting Maggie () by noon on Tuesday preceding the meeting. Minutes from each SBA meeting are available on the SBA website after approval by the board the following Wednesday.
TREASURER: BUDDY RUTZKE
Buddy is responsible for maintaining the financial records off the SBA. He serves on the budget committee, and is responsible for disbursement of allocated funds to the student organizations. Buddy is also responsible for collecting and tracking SBA dues, which help to fund the student orgs and school activities. Students should contact Buddy ( ) with questions regarding disbursements or reimbursements after such funds have been allocated.
