The University of Washington School of Law community was fortunate to receive a lecture and book signing by Charles Ogletree, the Harvard Law School Jesse Climenko Professor of Law and Founding/Executive Director of the Charles Hamilton Houston Institute for Race and Justice. A full house, including students, faculty and staff of the law school, as well as a number of attorneys and friends from throughout the city came to hear the Professor speak about complex issues of law and the ongoing need to work to secure the rights guaranteed by the Constitution for everyone equally under the law. With a special emphasis on issues of educational equality, Professor Ogletree gave all listeners serious food for thought and an invitation to engage in strategic advocacy to improve our world.
