Adel Omar Sherif is Deputy Chief Justice of the Supreme Constitutional Court of
Egypt. He is an internationally recognized expert in Egyptian constitutional
law, comparative constitutional law, and human rights. He serves on the advisory
boards of the United Nations Commissioner for Human Rights and the International
Judicial Academy in Washington, D.C.
