Law Firm Annual Challenge Campaign Kicks Off
In January, we officially begin the 2009-10 Law Firm Annual Challenge (LFAC) for the UW School of Law! We are in the fourth year of this important outreach initiative, which has proven to be a great success in helping us reach out to our alumni in law firms throughout Washington. Last year we visited more than 25 participating firms in Seattle, Spokane, and Wenatchee, and this year it is our goal to expand our outreach further and visit over 30 law firms with our new dean, Kellye Testy, as our featured speaker and primary focus for the firm presentations.
This year, we have nine dedicated alumni volunteers leading this challenge: Gregory Adams ’77, Judy Bendich ’75, Greg Gorder ’85, Colleen Kinerk ’77, Felix Gavi Luna ’97, Bruce Robertson ’77, Don Theophilus ’89, Mike Wampold ’96, and Craig Wright ’91.
LFAC was created to give alumni an opportunity to reconnect with their alma mater, to promote meaningful participation in the life of the law school, and to strengthen the Husky network within the legal community. The challenge serves as the foundation for an organized and mutually beneficial partnership that will sustain and grow the UW School of Law for the betterment of the Puget Sound legal community and beyond.
Thank you to our dedicated alumni volunteer committee and to all LFAC participating firms. We look forward to another successful year for LFAC!
