Celebrating our law school clinics

For almost 30 years, the UW School of Law has provided law students with extraordinary opportunities for practical legal education and experience through the clinical law program. The clinical law program is central to the law school’s public service and access to justice efforts.

Recently, the clinics held "Tributes and Transitions Celebration" to honor Professor Alan Kirtley who helped start the school's clinical law program. Kirtley directed the program until 2006, when he handed over leadership to Professor Deborah Maranville. Find out more about what the UW School of Law clinical law program offers students and clients.
