Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals News
On Wednesday, April 6, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit was at the UW School of Law to hear oral arguments in four cases. The cases involve a warrantless search, a challenge to the U.S. military’s “stop loss” policy of involuntarily extending a service member’s enlistment contract, a challenge to Washington state’s alleged underfunding of a state entitlement program, as well as a challenge to the U.S. Department of Defense ban on insurance coverage for medically necessary abortions for service members and their families.
