The Pacific Rim Law & Policy Journal (Pac Rim) is considered a foremost source of legal scholarship on the Pacific Rim and publishes three times a year at the University of Washington School of Law. Since its founding in 1990, Pac Rim has published over 350 student and professional articles, and has received 1700 citing references from 400 unique sources. The Journal has featured articles by internationally acclaimed legal scholars on topics such as constitutional law, human rights, corporate governance, antitrust, intellectual property, and environmental law.
To recognize over 20 years of outstanding legal scholarship, the Journal will host a celebratory dinner on April 30, 2012. The event will honor: Governor Christine O. Gregoire; Paula C. Littlewood, Executive Director of the Washington State Bar Association and Pac Rim Editor-in-Chief 1997-1998; Keith Hand, Associate Professor of Law at University California Hastings College of the Law and Pac Rim Editor-in-Chief 1999-2000; and Lawrence B. Weiner, Principle of LexiForum and Pac Rim’s Founding Editor-in-Chief. The Journal is pleased to honor these distinguished guests for their dedication and service to the University of Washington School of Law and the Pacific Rim region.
